Billingham East & South
We will be working jointly across 2 wards in Billingham; the South and East. The wards have a fantastic infrastructure for sport, with leading clubs in sports such as Cricket, Rugby, Football, Boxing and Martial Arts amongst others. The chosen wards are also the home to BCT Aspire, a youth club that runs a variety of sessions, trips and activities for children and young people across the town. There are 6 primary schools across the 2 wards of which we hope to engage with and understand their sport and physical education offer for children, and act as a facilitator to encourage a collaborative approach to creating opportunities and talent development alongside the local sports clubs.
